Letter From The Head Coach
Welcome to CrossFit West Stan! At CrossFit West Stan, we believe that elite athletes, military personnel, emergency response crews, and the general public have the same basic needs when it pertains to Fitness; those needs just vary by degree. CrossFit, as a whole is a GPP (General Physical Preparedness) program.
What does that mean?
It means that our goal as CrossFit Athletes is to be skilled in strength, power, balance, agility, flexibility, endurance, and the elusive, virtuosity.
Virtuosity refers to doing the common, uncommonly well. Ultimately, our greatest achievements are to prepare our athletes for anything and everything.
By observing, executing, analyzing, and revisiting our movements in the “Box,” we prepare for the unknown and unknowable.
The communal aspect at CrossFit West Stan brings the package together and motivates our athletes to perform past their own preconceived notion of “what is possible?”
